Review: Black Lagoon (Anime)

I watched the first 2 seasons of Black Lagoon. Since it moves me to a certain degree and I'm not doing anything, here's a short review.

Black Lagoon is set in the early to mid 1990's and is about the various jobs taken on by the Lagoon Company, a pirate/mercenary courier service of four based out of the sin-city-esque fictional port city of Roanapur, found supposedly somewhere in Thailand. The four, pictured left to right are:

Benny- a somewhat skittish jewish hacker from florida, the local tech-spert.

Rock- the main protagonist, a japanese businessman initially abducted by the Lagoon Company, but later somewhat adopted by them once he's declared dead by his employers. He begins as an errand boy, but later becomes negotiator and translator for various jobs.

Revy- a chinese-american gunwoman from new york. The brutal, short-tempered muscle of the group

Dutch- an imposing african-american vietnam vet. Steadfast leader of the Lagoon Company

Black Lagoon put in as few words...

Just a month more.. Birthday wishes?

Today, the 7th of February marks the one month distance to the big 2-0. I don't usually ask for anything, because I don't exactly celebrate the day (except maybe with my family), though i gladly accept whatever anyone gives...

But this year, I'd like to request something... don't worry, it's nothing large or expensive... just a letter.

It'll cost you a few pesos for the envelope and paper, but the real cost is the bit of effort it takes to write the letter. Within the month left between now and the day itself, I'd like to recieve letters from you people (any of you multiply contacts). Kahit feel mo "di tayo close" sulatan mo parin ako!!

Here are the requirements of the letter...

1. For those of you in the philippines, it MUST be in an envelope, signed and sealed please.. you don't have to send it in the mail though. You can simply hand it to me, or have it handed to me (that would be the preferred choice, since sending it via snail mail may result in me recieving it...

This is a site that an old friend showed me quite some time back. It's about a fictional character (StrongBad) who answers emails sent to him (by real people) every now and then... Quite the laugh trip if you've got nothing better to do.
